I completely agree about What's Up. I absolutely loathe that song. I remember a TV interview with the band shortly after it became a hit where their arrogance and self-aggrandising snugness fairly REEKED off the screen. Linda Perry kept saying "we're REAL. We're for REAL". They're almost as annoying as Gwen Stefani and that's as REAL as I can get 😃
I miss the old Verve. Urban Hymns was a stain on their career and they never sounded as important and epic as their early years. Yeah...I know...I sound like a music snob!
