I finally saw the Frank and Walters live in December last year and they were honestly great, just pure fun and chat. Definitely a sound bunch of lads.

By the by, just got an email from the De La Soul substack (I was subscribed?!) and they are releasing their first six albums digitally come March. It includes Buhloone Mindstate which came out in '93.
I’m torn between how good “Steam” still sounds and the reality that it’s 30 years old.
Sound goes a long, long way - notions, well... they worked for Bono! And he's the perfect personification :) A lovely piece of writing Bernard that sums up so much about us - I was smiling while reading
Casual Sex in the Cineplex is such a fun album full of short punchy feel-alive tracks. Saw the Sultans live in the USIT bar on Aston Quay - I know I enjoyed the gig, alas I also know I vomited on the dancefloor - in my defence I was quite young (definitely not 18!) I have a memory of Niall getting his lad out, but this may be unreliable :)
PS.You likely know already, there's an RTE radio due to come out early Feb about the Sultans
