I got into Slowdive (though I don't know their catalog back and forth) thanks to an ex (early 2000s) who had similar musical interests as mine which in the Midwest during that time was shocking. He said he knew I was the girl for him because I had an Ian Curtis poster on my wall in my apartment. Hah!
I really loved the Sliver soundtrack as it had most of the bands I was into at the time. Don't judge.
